• Third-party data – if you connect ScaliQ to other services or integrations, or if public LinkedIn data is used for outreach automation.

Chrome Extension – ScaliQ LinkedIn Connector

ScaliQ provides an optional Chrome browser extension named "ScaliQ LinkedIn Connector" that enables users to link their LinkedIn account to their ScaliQ account without entering their LinkedIn password.

Data Accessed by the Extension

When a user explicitly clicks "Add LinkedIn to ScaliQ," the extension reads the LinkedIn session cookie named "li_at" from the user's active linkedin.com browser session and reads the browser User-Agent string. The extension uses Chrome's scripting permission only to read the User-Agent from your active LinkedIn tab, and the tabs permission to detect whether you have a LinkedIn tab open and to open LinkedIn when needed.

The extension also uses Google OAuth (via the Chrome Identity API) to authenticate the user with ScaliQ. The extension does not access or store LinkedIn passwords, does not read LinkedIn messages, feeds, profiles, or page content, does not modify LinkedIn pages, and does not access cookies from any website other than linkedin.com.

Purpose of Cookie Use

The LinkedIn session cookie ("li_at") is used solely to establish a technical connection between the user's existing LinkedIn browser session and their ScaliQ account. This allows ScaliQ to associate the LinkedIn account with the user's ScaliQ account without requiring LinkedIn login credentials. The cookie is not used for advertising, resale, profiling, or unrelated analytics.

Data Transmission and Processing

When the user initiates the connection process, the "li_at" cookie value and the User-Agent string are transmitted securely via HTTPS to ScaliQ's backend infrastructure. The data is processed solely for account linking and service functionality. ScaliQ does not sell or share this data for advertising purposes.

The extension connects only to ScaliQ's backend and to Google sign-in services for account linking and authentication.

Data Retention

ScaliQ does not store LinkedIn passwords. Session-related data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the Service and may be deleted when the user disconnects their LinkedIn account, deletes their ScaliQ account, or when retention is no longer required for operational or legal purposes.

User Control

Users may disconnect their LinkedIn account at any time, remove the Chrome extension, or delete their ScaliQ account.

Google API Services Compliance

ScaliQ's use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data obtained through Google APIs is used exclusively to provide user-requested functionality and is not used for advertising, profiling, or resale.

How We Use Information

LinkedIn-related data is used only to provide the features explicitly enabled by the user and is not reused for unrelated purposes.

We use your data for purposes including:

• Operating, maintaining, and improving the ScaliQ platform.
• Managing LinkedIn outreach campaigns safely and effectively.
• Providing customer support and communicating with you about updates, features, or issues.
• Personalizing your experience and optimizing campaign performance.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

All data is stored securely with industry-standard encryption and access controls. LinkedIn passwords are not collected by ScaliQ. Account linking uses only the session cookie (li_at) as described in the Chrome Extension section above. Only authorized personnel have access to sensitive data.
